Nesrin is an admitted Attorney (Liste IV) working in the Investment & Asset Management Practice of the firm. Prior to joining Praxio, she has gained four years of professional experience in Luxembourg and Germany at different financial institutions, law firms and courts.
Nesrin worked for an alternative investment fund manager in Luxembourg as a legal officer for nearly two years where she acquired a solid experience in investment fund laws and regulations. Her responsibilities included in particular the support of existing and newly initiated fund specific products and services (AIF and UCITS), drafting and updating the fund documentation and carrying out the admission procedures, the incorporation of the required corporate vehicles, the application for regulatory approvals/inscriptions for regulated and unregulated Luxembourg structures as well as advice on general corporate and regulatory issues.
Nesrin holds two German law degrees and is Assessorin iur. from the Landesprüfungsamt für Juristen in Mainz (Germany). She studied law at the University of Trier (Germany), specializing in commercial criminal law and tax criminal law, as well as international and European criminal law. She holds a second law degree in capital market and corporate law. Furthermore she is registered with the German Bar Association in Koblenz and is admitted in Luxembourg as attorney/avocat (Liste IV).
